RFID In-Mold Label

The RFID In-Mold Label manufactured by YZY integrates the flexible RFID chip antenna with the in-mold printed label, forming a new type of intelligent packaging identifier that is compatible with the injection molding one-piece molding process. The label substrate is resistant to high temperatures, and it is directly placed inside the mold during the injection molding stage, forming an integrated structure with the plastic container. The label is completely embedded in the surface of the product, without any problems such as warping, detachment, or scratching.

YZY has achieved the integrated processing of printing patterns and RFID circuits. This RFID In-Mold Label retains the high-definition color printing display ability of the in-mold label, while also endowing the packaging with wireless identification and one-item-one-code data management capabilities.

Performance Testing

1. Injection Molding High Temperature Compatibility Test

Simulate the actual injection molding high-temperature and high-pressure conditions to verify that the RFID chip and antenna are not damaged during the molding process, and the radio frequency reading and writing functions are complete. The printed patterns do not have smudging or displacement.

2. RFID Reading and Writing Stability Test

After the finished container is completed injection molding, multiple distances are repeatedly read the label chip to confirm that the recognition is sensitive, there is no signal loss, and the data storage is stable.

3. Environmental Aging Resistance Test

Simulate high and low temperature cycles, moisture, and oil contact scenarios to test the embedded structure of the label and the radio frequency performance. The label does not lose its effectiveness after long-term use.

4. Adhesion Integration Test

Conduct friction and drop tests after injection molding completion. The label is integrated with the plastic substrate, without peeling or detachment.

5. Food Contact Safety Testing

The printing ink and film substrate comply with food contact-related specifications and can be used for direct contact with food.

6. Chemical Resistance Immersion Test

For packaging in the fields of cosmetics and chemicals, immerse the corresponding reagents to confirm that the printing layer and RFID circuit are not corroded or damaged.

FAQ

Q1: Can RFID In-Mold Labels be used for plastic containers for food products?

A: Yes, the substrate and ink meet the requirements for food contact, and are suitable for packaging items like puddings and ice cream.

Q2: Will the high-temperature injection process damage the RFID chip antenna?

A: Through process matching, we use RFID components that can withstand high temperatures, which are suitable for injection molding conditions.

Q3: Does your company support custom printing patterns and RFID chip parameters?

A: Yes, custom appearance graphics, chip models, and storage capacity can be provided.

Q4: What related system certifications does your company have?

A: We have ISO, BRC and other system certifications, hold multiple packaging-related patents, and conduct internal testing throughout the process.

Q5: Can you provide samples for customers to conduct injection molding sample testing?

A: Samples can be provided for customers to verify injection molding and reading/writing performance on the machine.

Q6: What is the approximate minimum order quantity standard?

A: It depends on the label specifications and chip models. You can communicate the project requirements for assessment.

Q7: Besides food packaging, what other plastic products can it be used for?

A: Daily care and cleaning containers, chemical plastic barrels, and home injection molding products can all be compatible.
