Metallic Matte IML

The matte metallic coating is combined with the in-mold injection molding process, and the metallic layer is encapsulated and integrated within the plastic cup body. It does not belong to the later processes of painting, stamping, or attaching metal stickers.

Product Adaptation

This IML is primarily suitable for PP material injection molded cups, food containers, and gift cases. It is suitable for conical cups and arc-shaped shells; during the design stage, the surface of the shell is evaluated, and if the surface is too large, it may cause inconsistent matte texture perception.

Injection Production

Our Metallic Matte IML follows the standard IML production process. The matte surface metal label is placed in the mold cavity, and molten plastic is injected to form a one-piece product. The decoration and the container are completed at the same time, eliminating the need for secondary processing.

Design Selection

The product can have a full matte metallic base color, or a partial matte metallic effect can be retained, with the remaining areas printed with colored patterns; food packaging projects require the specification of food-grade ink and film materials.

Maintenance

The finished product is covered by a plastic layer on the surface of the ink and the metal coating. It can be cleaned with plain water and neutral detergent, making it suitable for repeated use as a container.

- Do not use steel wool or hard abrasive sponges to scrub vigorously. The abrasive material will damage the plastic surface layer, indirectly altering the matte metal visual appearance.

- Avoid prolonged contact with strong solvents and high-concentration alcohol to prevent the plastic surface material from being eroded.

- Store the finished product in a dry and ventilated environment, avoiding high temperatures and direct sunlight, to reduce the aging of the plastic body.
